Controls were weird, but at least you can fix that.įanservice isn't exactly something I was expecting all that much of, considering the characters are all bland shapeless teenage girls. It's not terrible, I guess, but it feels like something made by a college student for a project or something. I just found it for 11 bucks at a used game store. I like how the first survival mission remixes music from one of the older Onechanbara games. It's a shame online is dead, but at least I can create a room and play solo, though it's super hard to play alone. And recycling the environments and "block" off zones to force you to an even more linear path.įor a shooter it is competent enough, and I am enjoying the cheesy story thus far. Heck, some missions are only a minute of two long, the 10 minute time limit is super generous. I also don't like how they 'pad the gameplay' needlessly by chopping up the game into missions. Load times are terrible.levels are small and chopped up by loading zones.you can't tell me that in 2018 these guys can't build an entire level and just let you have at it? It frustrates me to no end that the Onechanbara series nails it in terms of fan service and game play, and the level design and overall game design is terrible. ![]() Tamsoft REALLY, REALLY, REALLY needs to get with the times and build a better gameplay engine. This is basically what the Yakuza series did with Dead Souls.take a popular series and make it a shooter.of course, on a budget though. Well, the FIRST thing I did was change the controls to fit more of a 3rd person shooter standard, and it REALLY helps. ![]() Finally grabbed this and quickly played the first 4 missions.
